Club involvement with the Farmers' Market commenced in 2005 when Latrobe City transferred the Tyers Farmers Market to Traralgon. We were offered a spot to set up our catering equipment and not only feed the hungry cusomers, but also raise funds for our community work.

In 2008 Traralgon Lions Club was given the opportunity to run the Market by Latrobe City as a community fundraiser. We accepted the challenge with open arms and have been successful in growing the number of stallholders by almost double and expanding our catering skills extensively.

Our Farmers Market has become a fixture on most people's "things to do every month" with an average of over 45 stall holders in attendance regularly.

Customers come from all over Gippsland to savour the wide variety of fresh produce at Traralgon Farmers Market.

Held on the 4th Saturday of the month, 12 months of the year, our market has become one of the most popular destinations for locals.

For the third year in a row, our market is a finalist in the Latrobe City Business Tourism Association (LCBTA) "People's Choice Awards".

2012 voting is now closed and we anxiously await the results.
